A community of drop-ins and allied members throughout Toronto
The Toronto Drop-In Network (TDIN) offers a range of trainings developed through its internal training and social enterprise program. These sessions are designed to strengthen the capacity of drop-in staff, managers, and volunteers to provide effective, inclusive, and trauma-informed services to participants. TDIN is happy to share trainings that are available from our network members, allied organizations, and in the wider community.

All Saints x PBSC Legal Information Workshop: Supporting Clients Facing LTB Evictions
Wednesday April 29 2026
Event Type: Virtual
Pro Bono Students Canada (PBSC) and All Saints Church Community Centre are pleased to host a free legal information session for service providers who work with underhoused and precariously housed clients facing evictions at the Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB). WHEN: Wednesday, April 29th, 1:00-2:00pmWHERE: ZoomRegister: https://torontomu.zoom.us/meeting/register/6iFYB575RwWkciyY7R_tGg#/registrationThis one-hour session will provide service providers information on how they can act as support people for their clients at the LTB leading up to and during a hearing. The session will go over what an eviction notice is, what to look out for on eviction notices, what kinds of notices are voidable and how to void them, how to gather and submit evidence to the LTB for a hearing, requesting accommodations and interpreters for hearings, what kinds of issues and arguments can be raised at an eviction hearing, and what to expect after a hearing. The session will focus primarily on arrears (unpaid rent), illegal act, and hoarding related evictions. We hope to empower frontline workers and organizations to assist their clients and maintain housing, at a time when shelter beds and permanent housing for those getting evicted are more out of reach than ever, and legal clinics have faced funding cuts that have limited their capacity to help all who need their services.
