A community of drop-ins and allied members throughout Toronto
TDIN is an organization that works tirelessly to advocate for the needs of our sector. TDIN has an active advocacy committee that meets monthly to discuss issues that affect drop-ins and their members. We also try to help the community stay informed about what is happening in our sector, through social media and information that we post on our website.
Sistering Solidarity Walk 2026
Saturday March 7 2026
Event Type: In-person
Sistering is hosting a community walk and fundraiser on March 7th in support of their frontline services for women and gender-diverse people experiencing homelessness.Women and gender-diverse people experience homelessness and poverty in gendered, systemic ways — shaped by violence, marginalization, and inequality. Many are without homes, living in shelters, or surviving in precarious housing while navigating trauma, health challenges, and criminalization.Sistering’s Solidarity Walk is a collective way to respond. By walking and fundraising together, participants support Sistering’s 24/7 drop-in services, food access, harm reduction, and community-based care for women and gender-diverse people across Toronto.Every step and every dollar helps sustain services that offer safety, dignity, and care — every day.Click the link to join the walk or to donate: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/sistering-a-womans-place/p2p/SisteringWalk2026/ For more info visit: https://sistering.org/sistering-walk/
