A community of drop-ins and allied members throughout Toronto
The World Cup soccer tournament is coming to the city, real soon. We’ve put together some information to support drop-ins, front-line staff, and program participants to get around the city while there is an influx of crowds, security and police in many public spaces/on public transit.
We will be posting a “Heads Up!” reminder on social the day before every match day to support keeping people connected and informed. We’ve also put together a flyer in collaboration with the Toronto Underhoused and Homeless Union (TUHU) for outreach teams to pass around to our underhoused and homeless community members. This flyer can help to support folks in connecting with drop-in programs and being informed of increased security hot spots.
