Moving Forward

Neighbourhood Link Support Services offers a program called Moving Forward, developed in partnership with CAMH. It is an 8-week Essential Skills program that supports Ontario Works recipients, age 18+, facing mental and emotional roadblocks to work-life balance (ie. stress, mood, esteem, low self-confidence, feelings of anxiety and/or depression). Our program offers life coping and management strategies, career exploration, computer training, job search skills and techniques, workplace success strategies, health and wellness, and counselling support. Program facilitators will work collaboratively with participants to create an individualized program plan outlining steps toward personal, health, and training/employment goals. more>>
